| Thanks Val, my camera is terrible for taking cream to very pale yellow flowers they always turn out light, so I know what you mean.. Yes Camp David did have a delightful perfume. | |

| Thank heaven I got a halfways decent photo of Camille Pissaro before it was too late. I don't like the green bit in the middle and hope it isn't a regular feature of this rose. | |

| My Camille Pissaro gets these green centres too, but not that many. I don't like them either. It's a nice photo of him. I found mine having a bit of a lie down today, the weight of the rain in the wet blooms made it bend right over. I must stake it tomorrow. | |

| It's part of the Delbard Painters Roses Collection, Mary-Anne , named after the impressionists ,Matisse, Cezanne and Pissaro. | |

| Shady Lady is very sweet Betty, I like her a lot. Gwen - Tequila Sunrise is as bright as you can get I think in a rose - you need your sunnies on!! LOL | |

| Chartreuse de Parme, Val, do you recall where you got it? A beautiful rose, but there is not one there that I have, or don't now want to have. LOL. Princess de Monaco is a stunner, and J the O is a must have. I found that Crocus Rose does really well up here and wonder if J the O will be the same. Just 'cause they're a similar colour doesn't mean a thing really. More photo's please. Your Oranges and Lemons looks a nicer colour than the photo in the Treloars catalogue. And having looked that up I found another stripey must have - Love In. | |

| Thankyou ladies Betty I'm pretty sure I got Chartreuse de Parme from Bunnings. The had a stack of Delbards there at the time. I got my Oranges and Lemons by accident, I bought 2 Harry Wheatcroft by mistake and was annoyed with myself. Then when they bloomed they were different to each other and I discovered that one is O and L ! It was on my wishlist anyway Yes I've seen Love In and felt the need for it BUT! I'm not buying any more roses! (Stop laughing you lot !) I haven't got the Crocus Rose either. I love Princesse de Monaco but she's fragile and gets bruised by wind and rain easily. She was given to me 4 years ago by a friend who gave me 17 unknown old roses that her daughter didn't want in the garden of the new house she'd bought. I scored some real beauties there! I was very lucky | |

| Chartreuse de Parme is a Delbard did you mean? Sad to say we don't have a Bunnings. Horsham is now big enough for a Bunnings I reckon but it's like that pipeline, will it arrive here before I die of old age?? Good mistake getting O and L that way. Sheer luck. I won't buy Princesse de Monaco , sounds as if she is not the rose to cope with our freaky "land gales". I think you need to buy Crocus rose though, it seems a real toughie. How many roses do you have, Val? | |

| I think I have about 154 roses Betty, and it's enough! It's taken me 3 days to clean them, spray them and feed them. My hands and arms look like a battle zone. If I happen to come across the Crocus Rose I may consider it, but I'm seriously not looking! Thankyou Gwen | |

| You must have some seriously beautiful vases of roses at times for your house, Val. I've got a way to go to catch up to you.
Thanks, Gwen. A lot of mine haven't flowered yet, too young and the conditions are against them. | |

| I only cut my roses when there are hot days forecast Betty. Like now! I just went outside and came straight back in, it's too hot to work out there. 31.5 and I'm not up to the challenge today! Later when it's cooler I'll see if there's any worth cutting for the house. | |

| I cut what I could yesterday, Val. Ordinarily I'd rather they stayed on the bush. Still, it's lovely when you really HAVE to bring them in. | |
