This is , or should I say was a lovely rainforest tree [don't know its name]which decided to die, maybe it got crowded out by a stronger species , who knows , but the thing I find very interesting is as it died it oozed resin .The resin is hard set now and has interesting shapes ,it also shines in the streams of sunlight which get through from the canopy above.

Very interesting Gwen, fossil resin is Amber.
I wonder if there are any insects in the resin drops.
