Probably half of them Gwen

Daniel I was looking at this http://www.digitalcamerawarehouse.com.au/category208_1.htm and this http://www.digitalcamerawarehouse.com.au/category240_1.htm is your card different to one of these as they both give its 819 pics per 4GB card I think I put 810 down pressed the wrong key Very Happy

I must have typed in the wrong name perhaps, I was going by a 10MP X 4Gb card

Mary-Anne; it looks like the 4gb one in your link; camera has a photo count on bottom right corner...I am just going by that...time will tell...but to be honest...I doubt it will ever have 200 on the card...but has some spare capacity.

Yes it should get up near the 900 on the Highest Res, my camera often has 999 when the 4GB card is in it the numbers wont go any further too bad if you put a 32GB card in and often I will get close to 1100 it all depends on what size the pic ends up, the close up pics seem to use only half the amount around 2.7MP and the wide angle landscape type pics can easy come in at 5MP or more you would only get 800 on pics that big, some of the Mares with the Foals pics I took the other day were 6.29MP so I would only get 600 if I was shooting like that all the time which I am not..

Why they are giving the P&S Public huge MP is beyond me as they are taking away all the other good things like a view finder and thicker memory cards the hand grip with four batteries and light metal bodies.

Mine is only a 10MP camera and I take all my pics in JPEG not RAW imagine how big they would be then.
