| We decided to move all our daylilies into a new bed as the old one was getting crowded. The little part of the new bed to the right of the path has mini daylilies in it. The photo was taken before it was properly finished and we still have to mulch the garden yet. We had to replace the old bridge we had here (older members would know it) as white ants had gotten into one part of it. Rather than repairing the damaged bit we decided to just use part of it as a smaller bridge. It goes across what we call the dry creek bed but we put it there to take any run-off from near the house and also double as a short cut through the garden... which the dogs use more than us... at least they don't run through the garden itself much anymore We also put a little seat next to the bridge. Looking towards the front Looking back the other way | |

| That looks great, Gail I am very envious of all that dirt to play with. | |

| I like all the different types and textures of foliage in that sort of garden, Gail, and how green everything is compared to here. It looks so cool and restful. Your dogs would love it. | |

| Thanks, it's been a struggle to get the plants this far but at last they are starting to go ahead this last 12mths. Most of these plants have been in the ground for around 5 years now though the bigger trees like the poincianas where planted about 10yrs ago now. | |
